Here are the names and pictures of the people on our Integrated Care Board. You can read more about them on our ICB Board Members page.

	There are lots of different organisations that can help when you are ill or need support. This can be different NHS services, the council or charities. This can be confusing.
	We think that all the organisations involved in health and care in Norfolk and Waveney should work together. This is called an integrated care system or ICS for short
	We already work like this in Norfolk and Waveney but now it will happen everywhere in England
	Integrated care systems are about planning health and care services based on what people need in your area. They will work with local people to decide what to do.
	Norfolk and Waveney’s integrated care system will: • make sure that people can live as healthy a life as possible • make sure that you only have to tell your story once • make Norfolk and Waveney the best place to work in health and care

	1. Health and social care will work together more. This includes: • organisations or services run or paid for by the NHS (like hospitals) • councils • voluntary and community organisations (like charities) • and other social care services like supported living.
	2. Services that help with your thoughts and feelings (mental health) and services that help with your body (physical health) will work together more. This will help people get the right support.
	3. Local doctors (GPs), pharmacies (chemists) and hospitals will also work together more and share ideas.
	This is to make sure people get the care and treatment they need at the right time. They will also work with people, their families or anyone else who supports them.

	Rt Hon Patricia Hewitt is Chair of NHS Norfolk & Waveney Integrated Care Board and Deputy Chair of Norfolk and Waveney Integrated Care Partnership.
	Tracey Bleakley is Chief Executive Officer of NHS Norfolk & Waveney Integrated Care Board.
	Stephen Course is Director of Finance for NHS Norfolk and Waveney Integrated Care Board
	Tricia D’Orsi is Director of Nursing for the NHS Norfolk and Waveney Integrated Care Board
	Dr Frankie Swords is Medical Director for NHS Norfolk and Waveney Integrated Care Board
	Hein van den Wildenberg is an Independent Non-Executive Member of the NHS Norfolk and Waveney Integrated Care Board and Chair of the Finance Committee
	Cathy Armor is an Independent Non-Executive Member of the NHS Norfolk and Waveney Integrated Care Board and Chair of the Remuneration, People and Culture Committee
	David Holt is an Independent Non-Executive Member of the NHS Norfolk and Waveney Integrated Care Board and Chair of the of the Audit and Risk Assurance Committee
	Jonathan Barber is a Partner Member of the NHS Norfolk and Waveney Integrated Care Board for Acute Hospitals. He is Director of Strategy and Transformation at James Paget University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust
	Aliona Derrett is an Independent Non-Executive Member of the NHS Norfolk and Waveney Integrated Care Board. She is the Chair of the Patient and Communities Committee and the Chair of the Quality and Safety Committee,
	Steven Collman is a Partner Member of the NHS Norfolk and Waveney Integrated Care Board for Mental Health and Community Services. He is Chief Executive of Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust which provides services that help with your thoughts and feelings (mental health).
	Dr Hilary Byrne is a GP at the Attleborough Group Practice and is a Partner Member of the NHS Norfolk and Waveney Integrated Care Board for NHS Primary Medical Services. This is the care you get from a GP practice.
	James Bullion is a Local Authority Partner Member of the NHS Norfolk and Waveney Integrated Care Board. He is Executive Director of Adult Social Care at Norfolk County Council.
	Sue Cook is a Local Authority Partner Member of the NHS Norfolk and Waveney Integrated Care Board. She is Executive Director of People Services at Suffolk County Council. Sue is a member of the Board because our ICS includes Waveney in Suffolk.
	Emma Ratzer is the Voluntary Community and Social Enterprise Assembly (VCSE) Member of the NHS Norfolk and Waveney Integrated Care Board. She is Chief Executive Officer of Access Community Trust. VCSE includes organisations like charities that help people. Volunteers are people who do not get paid but give their time to help people.
	Councillor Bill Borrett is the Integrated Care Partnership Member of the NHS Norfolk and Waveney Integrated Care Board. He is a councillor at Norfolk County Council. He was voted for by local people.

	The Government made some changes to the way health and care services work.
	The changes are in a new law called the Health and Care Act 2022. It started on 1 July 2022 and will change how we plan and pay for services.
	We also want health and care services to work together more so it’s easier to get the services people need.

	The Integrated Care Partnership or ICP for short brings together the NHS, Local Government, Healthwatch and other public and community sector partners, as equal partners.
	The ICP is a statutory committee of both the NHS and Norfolk and Suffolk County Councils. Focusing on prevention, health inequalities and voluntary and community organisations.

	Integrated Care Boards or ICBs for short is the new official NHS organisation bringing the NHS and partners together locally to improve health and care.
	The Integrated Care Board will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the NHS in Norfolk and Waveney, including planning and buying healthcare services.
	The work done by NHS Norfolk and Waveney Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) will now be done by NHS Norfolk and Waveney Integrated Care Board from July 2022.
