Residents in Norfolk and Waveney eligible for booster jabs and those aged 12-15 years of age are being urged to get their Covid-19 booster jab to protect them and their loved ones this winter.

Cath Byford Chief Nurse at NHS Norfolk and Waveney Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) said:

Patients in the Holt and Wells areas of North Norfolk will be able to access COVID-19 boosters closer to home, thanks to a new partnership approach.

North Norfolk Primary Care (NNPC), GP Provider Organisation for North Norfolk, and Norfolk Community Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust (NCH&C), will be working collaboratively to deliver vaccines in the Holt and Wells areas.

There are more options for children and young people aged 12-15 to get their COVID-19 vaccine in Norfolk and Waveney .

Previously, vaccinations for healthy 12 to 15-year-olds had only been available in school through the local school age immunisation services (SAIS), but parents or guardians are now able to book their child for a vaccine if they haven’t already had one via the National Booking Service.
