Following the Prime Minister's national announcement on 30 November, local GP practices and NHS vaccination clinics are awaiting further clinical and operational guidance from NHS England BEFORE the changes to eligibility for booster vaccinations can be implemented.
Dr David Vickers, medical director, Cambridgeshire Community Services NHS Trust, which delivers the large scale vaccination centres across Norfolk said:
“I am delighted to announce that from Saturday 27 November, the Attleborough vaccination centre will open to walk-ins for all eligible groups; with all other vaccination centres across Norfolk following suit from Monday 29 November.
This autumn, a series of charity funded projects across Norfolk and Waveney will start to benefit communities recovering from the pandemic, thanks to a national grant of nearly £500,000 from NHS Charities Together.
Covid Protect - a local NHS and social care initiative to protect Norfolk and Waveney’s most vulnerable patients at the onset of the pandemic – has won the 2021 Health Service Journal Award for Connecting Services and Information.
