Covid-19 Vaccine First and Second Doses
First and second doses
Anyone aged 12+ can have a COVID-19 vaccination.
- Healthy 12-15 year olds are now eligible to receive two doses from a minimum of 12 weeks from the first dose [usually through their educational setting]
- Immunosuppressed 12-15 year olds receive two doses
- Anyone aged 16+ years is now eligible for two doses
Anyone aged 16+ can make a pre-booked appointment for a first or second dose or can walk in (without an appointment) at selected sites. Second doses are given 8 weeks after the first dose.
Those aged 16-17 will be offered Pfizer and Moderna vaccines as recommended by the JCVI.
